SCIENCE CENTER TO HOST POLAR PJ PARTIES FOR POLAR EXPRESS FANS

CHILDREN AND FAMILIES CAN ENJOY HOLIDAY FUN, CLASSIC FILM IN THEIR PAJAMAS

Fans of the holiday film The Polar Express are invited to come to the Science Center in their pajamas for a special holiday party.

 

During the month of December, Polar PJ Parties will offer guests the chance to make an event out of a trip to Rangos Omnimax Theater to see the classic movie.

 

Along with watching The Polar Express, children and their families will enjoy a hot chocolate bar with liquid nitrogen frozen marshmallows, and take selfies with Santa. Additional activities include story time, make-and-take crafts, and private time in the Miniature Railroad & Village®. Each participant receives a train ticket and sleigh bell to take home.

 

Polar PJ Parties will be held on the following dates:

·         Dec. 3: 9 am – Noon

·         Dec. 109 am – Noon

·         Dec. 119 am – Noon (sensory-sensitive)

·         Dec. 116 – 9 pm

·         Dec. 186 – 9 pm (sensory-sensitive)

 

On Dec. 11 and 18, sensory-sensitive Polar PJ Parties will be offered. These events have been developed specifically for people on the autism spectrum or who are affected by sensory processing disorders.

 

The doors open for morning parties at 8:30 am, and the event runs from 9 am until noon. For evening parties, the doors open at 5:30 pmand the event runs from 6 pm until 9 pm. The cost is $15 per person, and $5 for children 2 and under. Advance registration is required.
