Seven Springs to Teach Snowboarding at Science Center

Seven Springs will teach kids how to snowboard – without the snow – at Carnegie Science Center on Saturday, Sept. 6 at its Learn to Snowboard event.

Representatives from the mountain resort will bring to a movable attraction they created to teach kids ages 3-8 how to snowboard – with no snow. Seven Springs snowsports school instructors will be on hand from 11 am to 3 pm to teach lessons at the Science Center’s Highmark SportsWorks® building.

Seven Springs staff will bring Burton snowboards and boots for the children. Boots will be available in sizes 10-13. Children ages 3-8, who are under 60 pounds, may participate.

Learn to Snowboard is included with general admission costs.
