Friday, December 7, at the Community Pavilion in downtown Washington for an evening of shopping, children's activities and live holiday entertainment as The Observer-Reporter kicks off the holiday season with its third annual Holiday Market.
“One of my goals for the holiday market is for families to make this a part of their annual tradition. When our son was growing up, we loved to make certain parts of the holiday season a yearly event and that’s what we hope families will do with their children,” Carole DeAngelo, advertising director for The Observer-Reporter, said. “The Washington Christmas parade has always been one of the best events of the season, and we are proud to be a part of it.”
The Holiday Market, held in conjunction with the downtown Washington Christmas parade, is sponsored by The Observer- Reporter and Range Resources. It will be open to the public from 4-9 p.m. and will include a meet-and-greet with Santa Claus, free carriage rides and a Toys for Tots campaign.
This is a free event. Please visitwww.washingtonholidaymarket.com for additional information.
