Kids Fest

February 27, 2018

Come out and enjoy the fun at Washington County’s biggest family-friendly event, Kids Fest, happening at the Washington Crown Center, on Saturday, March 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Kids Fest is a free, fun-filled day of activities for the whole family. The day features live stage entertainment, inflatable fun zones, sports and fitness areas, health and wellness zones, sports demos, great arts and crafts and plenty of food!

While you there, check out the Kids Fest Marketplace, where regional vendors will have products and services for the whole family, as well as many local resources and organizations aimed at enriching families’ lives.

In its third year, the event has become a valuable resource for the families who attend. Carole DeAngelo, marketing director for the Observer Publishing Company, said the event offers families a fun day to reconnect.

“Kids Fest has become one of the largest regional children’s events in our market. We feel it is very important to provide an event for families to learn more about the vast services available to them in our area, for the children to have fun and for parents to engage, interact and learn with their children,” DeAngelo said.

New to Kids Fest this year is a day-long consignment sale where parents can sell their gently used children’s items. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Washington City Mission.

In addition to being a quality event for the whole family, Kids Fest will also support the Greater Washington County Food Bank. Families are encouraged to bring canned goods and other nonperishable goods to support area families in need.

Kids Fest is brought to you by Peoples Gas and the Observer-Reporter.
