Earn Some Money while “Tidying Up!”

Earn Some Money while “Tidying Up!”

The start of the New Year is often a great motivator to start decluttering and organizing different spaces in our homes.  The Netflix release of “Tidying Up with Marie Kondo” has inspired an even bigger wave of purging and cleaning!  In the past, I have often tackled organization projects one room at a time. In my opinion, one of Marie Kondo’s most helpful tips is to organize by category.  When we look at a big pile of our kids’ clothing or toys, we can quickly see how much “stuff” we have accumulated and how much is not being used.  If you are “tidying up” around your house, why not earn some extra money in the process?

Little Blessings Dressings, LLC is a giant kids’ consignment sale that takes place at the Washington County Fairgrounds every September and March. The sale was started in 1999 at the old Holiday Inn by South Hills Village Mall.  It continued to grow and soon had to be moved to the North Strabane Fire Department Hall and then again to the largest building at the Washington County Fairgrounds! We sell clothing, inside and outside toys, books, movies, games, room accessories, baby equipment (including strollers, play yards, baby carriers, and highchairs), etc. at great prices.   Our next sale is March 7th-9th, and we would love to have you join our team of consignors!

As a consignor…

  • you have an easy way to sell your gently used children’s clothing, toys, and gear while at the same time helping other families in your community that like to find great deals on children’s items.
  • you get the perk of shopping early!  When you drop off your items, you will receive a presale pass that allows you to shop the sale before it is open to the general public.
  • you can choose to volunteer at the sale to shop even earlier or earn more money back for the items you are consigning.
  • you can either pick up your unsold items or have the items donated to a local charity.
  • you prepare your items for the sale, but we do the marketing for you!  It’s so much better than a yard sale because Little Blessings Dressings’ shoppers are coming to shop specifically for children’s items.
  • you don’t have to take pictures of what you’re selling or deal with the hassle of someone not showing up in response to your Facebook or Craigslist post.
  • you will receive a check in the mail with your earnings within 2 weeks of the sale!

Would you like some extra money to help save for that house project or family vacation that you would like to take?  We all want to declutter and get more organized.  Why not earn money while doing it?  To find out more about consigning with Little Blessings Dressings, please visit our website at www.littleblessingsdressings.com.
