Check Out Bowers School House

February 10, 2021

Making decisions about your child’s early education and care can be challenging. At Bowers School House we want to inspire confidence in your decision. The building blocks to the foundation of our Early Learning Program starts with a warm, nurturing and safe environment. Our comprehensive curriculum is aligned to Pennsylvania State Standards. We implement developmentally appropriate curricula, which emphasizes guided learning opportunities that are language-rich and hands-on. Our lead teachers all hold a Bachelor of Education Degree and are effective teachers who provide engaging interactions and classroom environments that support learning.

What makes us unique is that we deliver a more personable relationship with our children by having fewer students in a classroom and more staff which facilitates high-quality interactions between our teachers and children. Our ratio max in a classroom is 2 teachers: 15 students. This promotes extended one-on-one time for students to thrive in their own developmental pathways. We administer assessments that consider each child’s academic, social-emotional, and physical progress which in turn contributes to personalized instruction and program planning.

Positive family-program connections have been linked to greater academic motivation. Bowers School House emphasizes on meaningful family engagement. Research finds that high levels of family engagement often result from strong program-family partnerships characterized by trust, shared values, ongoing communication, mutual respect, and attention to the child’s well-being. When you enroll your child at Bowers School House, you can rest easy knowing that he or she is getting the very best care and education in an exceptional environment. Come visit our school and see what we mean on a tour of our facility.
