SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO PENNSYLVANIA TROLLEY MUSEUM

Pennsylvania Trolley Museum’s stockings are hung by the trolleys with care with the knowledge that Santa Claus will soon be there! The merriest man himself will be visiting the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum during their annual Santa Trolley. Join the museum during November 26-28, December 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, & 19 for this spectacular event that runs from 9AM-5PM. Please view the website listing for exact departure times. Guests will have the opportunity to climb aboard a restored streetcar that will transport them around the museum’s 2 mile track. While aboard, visitors will get to meet Santa Claus and a few of his friends may show up as well! Santa will be happy to have visitors take his picture, so make sure you remember to bring your camera. This event is made possible by sponsor, KeyBank.

After your ride with Santa, take a ride on the Yuletide Shuttle and visit our decorated Wexford station. Your camera will come in handy when you stop by the museum’s large Lionel toy train layout. Each year the layout changes, so come on down and view the beautiful winter scenery! 

 In the museum’s Event Room, you will get to view the wonderful LEGO layout built by Steel City Lug, Pittsburgh Area’s Adult LEGO User Group. The holiday spirit will be all throughout the air and your bellies will be filled with complimentary hot chocolate and cookies. After eating your snacks, kids can make a great holiday craft to remember their visit! 

Admission for the Santa Trolley is $15 for adults, $14 for seniors (62+) and $14 for children ages 3-15; children under 3 are free. This admission will include your trip on the Santa Trolley and the open exhibits, trips on the Yuletide shuttle. This event is very popular and we do suggest advance ticket purchases be made online due to the limited seating. The tickets can be purchased on the museum’s website at www.patrolley.org

During the month of December, the museum will be hosting their Trolleys and Toy Trains event. It will be held on Friday, December 3, 10, & 17 from 10am – 4pm. Visitors of this event will be able to ride on our decorated trolleys and to view the Lionel toy train layout. Admission for Trolleys and Toy Trains is $12 for adults, $11 for seniors and $10 for children ages 3-15; children under 3 are free.
