When I walked into Frenchies I was greeted with a warm neck wrap that smelled of Christmas. Do you know what I wasn't greeted with? The smell of harsh chemicals. Frenchies has differentiated itself by not offering acrylic nail services, crushed acrylic dips, or using harsh chemicals, so the air in the salon always smells fresh and clean. The use of these chemicals can induce respiratory symptoms like coughing, wheezing, nasal congestion, throat irritation, or shortness of breath when breathing in the fumes. I really appreciated this during my visit to Frenchies.
The next part is always the hard part for me. Choosing a nail color. I knew I wanted red or green for Christmas. Frenchies color line was amazing! But to make it even harder, there was a book full of nail art. Decisions, decisions. Did I want a Christmas tree, Christmas lights, Santa, a reindeer, oh my?! I was drawn to the holiday plaid. Oh, I chose a really pretty sparkly red for my toes and a shiny red for my accent nail. The rest of my nails are a beautiful green sparkle. So gorgeous that another customer came in and saw them and went with the same color. Daya is truly an artist - she customized my holiday plaid with my colors and took her time working with me to be sure it was what I envisioned and was meticulous in getting the lines perfectly straight.
