Fall fun returns to the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum with our annual Pumpkin Patch Trolley and Trick or Trolley events. Pumpkin Patch Trolley, sponsored by LB Foster, runs Friday, October 18 through Sunday, October 20. Trick or Trolley, sponsored by FirstEnergy, will take place on Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27. At both events, visitors will experience the fall season with rides on decorated trolleys as well as explore our Trolley Display Building with over 20 antique trolleys to tour and explore.
Our Pumpkin Patch Trolley event will be truly magical this year as children will plant a “magic pumpkin seed” of our special invention. Then, after a trolley ride through our beautiful fall scenery, their pumpkins will have magically grown to their full size! Children will also have the chance to decorate their mini pumpkin before taking it home. There will also be children’s games and complimentary fall themed refreshments, add to the fall fun by dressing up in your favorite costume. The event is scheduled to run from 10:00AM to 5:00PM each day. The last trolley of the day will leave at 3:55 pm. Admission to Pumpkin Patch Trolley is $22 for adults, $21 for seniors (age 62+) and $20 for kids (ages 3-15). Children 2 and under are free but require purchasing a pumpkin for $3. These are timed tickets, and advanced purchasing online is encouraged at www.patrolley.org. Each purchase of a child’s ticket includes a pumpkin; those who would like to purchase an additional pumpkin may do so for $3.00. We thank our sponsor, LB Foster, for underwriting this special event.
During Trick or Trolley, children are encouraged to wear their costumes to trick or treat with local businesses and organizations stationed throughout the Museum as well as play holiday games. The event is scheduled to run from 10:00AM to 4:00PM each day. Thanks to our generous sponsor, FirstEnergy, regular admission prices are in effect and can be purchased on the days of the event. The last full Museum experience begins at 3:15PM.
In addition to these great events, we will once again offer trolley rides at the Washington County Fairgrounds during the Pennsylvania Arts & Crafts Christmas Festival.
