Enjoy the Fall Season

AT THE PENNSYLVANIA TROLLEY MUSEUM

October 3, 2023

As summer winds down and fall approaches, it means one thing: fall fun at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum! The Museum will host our annual Pumpkin Patch Trolley as well as our Trick or Trolley event. Pumpkin Patch Trolley, sponsored by Key Bank, will run Friday, October 20 through Sunday, October 22. Trick or Trolley will run Saturday, October 28 and Sunday, October 29.

Visitors are invited to experience the fall season with rides on trolleys that are outfitted with autumn decorations. Visitors can ride to the Trolley Display building where they can tour the large collection of trolleys.

During Pumpkin Patch Trolley, children can select a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch and then take it to the events room where they will be able to decorate it. There will be children’s games and complimentary fall themed refreshments. Add to the fall fun by dressing up in your favorite costume. The event is scheduled to run from 10:00AM to 5:00PM each day. The last trolley of the day will leave for the pumpkin patch at 3:30PM. Admission to Pumpkin Patch Trolley is $15 for adults, $14 for seniors (age 62+) and $14 for kids (ages 3-15). Children under 3 are free, but require purchasing a pumpkin. These tickets can be purchased in advance online at www.patrolley.org. Those individuals who purchase advance tickets will receive priority boarding on the trolleys. Each purchase of a child’s ticket includes a pumpkin; those who would like to purchase an additional pumpkin may do so for $3.00. This admission also includes tours of the museum and unlimited rides on the trolleys.

During Trick or Trolley, children are encouraged to wear their costumes and trick or treat at local businesses and organizations stationed throughout the Museum. There will be children’s games and complimentary fall themed refreshments. The event is scheduled to run from 10:00AM to 5:00PM each day. The last trolley of the day will leave for the Trolley Display Building at 3:30PM. Admission to Trick or Trolley is $15 for adults, $14 for seniors (age 62+) and $14 for kids (ages 3-15). Children under 3 are free. Tickets can be purchased in advance online at www.patrolley.org. Those individuals who purchase advance tickets will receive priority boarding on the trolleys.

In addition to these great events, we will once again offer park and ride service to the Washington County Fairgrounds during the Pennsylvania Arts & Crafts Christmas Festival. This festival will run October 20-22 & 28-29. Visitors can park in the museum’s parking lot and ride to the fairgrounds. This park and ride service will cost $3 person and children under 3 are free. This service does not represent or include the Pumpkin Patch activities going on during the Pumpkin Patch Trolley.

The Museum is currently opening under our fall seasonal hours which are Friday through Sunday, 10:00am to 4:00pm. Check the Museum website for information about the 2023 Santa Trolley and its online ticket sales.
