We offer classes for children aged 4 to 5 years old. To enroll, the child must be 4 years old by December 1st of the upcoming school year. Our sessions run from 9:00 to 11:15 AM for younger 4-year-olds and from 9:00 to 11:45 AM for older 4-year-olds and 5-year-olds on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Each day starts with classroom instruction where the project of the day (a worksheet or craft) is discussed, and the calendar is reviewed. The remainder of the day includes one-on-one or group work with the teacher, free time for supervised play in one of our five rooms, snack time, and story time. Our program is designed to help prepare students academically and socially for kindergarten. Open Door Nursery has been dedicated to nurturing young children in our community for the past 50 years. Established in 1971, the school has helped thousands of students boost their self-esteem, expand their intellect, and develop lifelong social skills. Our staff is committed to providing opportunities for our students to engage with their peers in an environment that fosters the development of wholesome social relationships. We aim to support their physical, emotional, intellectual, and Christian spiritual growth.
