Oglebayfest began in 1978 in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Oglebay Park. Since then, Oglebayfest has grown into a major event that serves an annual ‘thank you’ to all who visit Oglebay year-round. Oglebayfest also features displays of elaborate quilts, homegrown foods, gentle animals, and demonstrations and competitions for all ages including butter making, hog calling, fiddling, rock throwing and baby crawling. Don’t miss the parade, fireworks and much more!

Oglebayfest parade marks the kick off to the fall festival on Saturday, October 5 at 9:30 am. This celebration featues organizations, schools, and clubs from across the region.
