Once fall hits, Halloween is all the talk. There are fall festivals with hayrides, corn mazes, (and so much more), weeks of trunk-or-treats and even more spooky fun. Those events were especially meaningful this fall. But now that it is over you are just left with mounds of Halloween Candy - what to do with it all? Don't throw it all away!! Of course, you have to keep a small emergency stash! But there's still way too much! You can make these day after Halloween Brownies or Halloween Bark.
Enjoy the November events on our calendar. The fun is extended at Simmons Farm through this weekend. This fall weather is great for outdoor fun & events, so don't miss your last chance! Now is the time to plan holiday photos. Speaking of the holidays, I do a thing - I start decorating for Christmas, November 1. Anyone else? We've been doing this for years and it seems more and more are joining in. I love it and we all enjoy it and are feeling festive! And that festive spirit extends into Macaroni Kid...
We are also offering an early bird special in our Holiday Guide. The theme: This Holiday Season Think Big | Shop Small - Support Our Local Businesses Guide. This is a way to help support businesses in our community this holiday season. If you know of any local small businesses that could use some help this holiday season let them know about this. We are reaching out to all different kinds of businesses that you haven’t seen in Macaroni Kid before and offering this “EARLYBIRD” special on our holiday guide.
It's not too early to start thinking about Christmas Events. If you know of any breakfasts with Santa or any other local holiday event, please submit it here for our event calendar.
And don't forget to enjoy what's left of FaLL and jump into the holiday spirit - we've got some fun stuff coming up - stay tuned!
Have a great week!
~Heather
PS: Remember to turn the clocks back this weekend!
